SEPHORA

For the retail chain Sephora, a perfumery, we designed and implemented a campaign on Facebook with an objective to increase sales.

We addressed several hundred thousand potential customers and enabled them to obtain discount vouchers with limited validity. The campaign was focused on cities where Sephora has its shops, and it was precisely targeted according to interests and age. We used all available formats of Facebook ads, including ads on mobile devices. These actually showed the best results!

Several thousand discount vouchers were downloaded. Sephora has gained not only many new customers, who came with the discount vouchers to the shops, but also new members of the Sephora club. The campaign was highly profitable as costs amounted to only a few percent of the revenues generated!

We are successfully continuing to work with Sephora, cooperating on other projects such as Burberry´s and Paco Rabbane´s brand strengthening.

Project description

Before the start of the campaign, working with client, we determined the target group on Facebook. We divided it further into several subgroups, and for each of them we created specific texts and visuals. For the convenience of potential clients, we created a special landing page on Sephora´s website. People interested in the discount had three options for downloading the voucher: via SMS, e-mail or by printing. When creating the landing page, we worked closely with the company's headquarters in Paris. The campaign ran for only 14 days, and the discount was valid only during the duration of the campaign. We carefully monitored each of the ads through Google Analytics and the measuring codes directly from Facebook. The campaign´s results exceeded all expectations. Customers´ responses to the ads were extremely positive, and high conversion rates were achieved. The cost for one download of the voucher was just 16 CZK. A secondary effect of the campaign was a considerable increase of the number of fans on Sephora´s Facebook
